This is the story of the Father’s Heart for the lost, regardless where they are lost. Sometimes we think that the church is the place where people are found, but in reality it is often the place where people are most lost. They are lost in tradition and religion and self-righteousness. In Luke 15 Jesus tells a story of the Prodigal son, the one who got lost in the temptations of the world. This is a story of the older son, the one who was as lost, but touched by the Father’s heart, gets compelled to SEEK and FIND the lost. And in doing that, he comes back HOME, to the embrace of the loving Father.
This video tells a story of one small (about 8000 people), port town tucked away in one of the many natural bays of the Adriatic coast in Croatia. But this town is unique because its founding citizens are still alive to tell the stories of the first generation, first football games and first buildings that started to shape the skyline. This is a story of my town.
